Compact yet deeply immersive, this circuit covers ancient temples, sacred rivers, and living ritual traditions across the Gangetic plains.
Arrive at Ayodhya (nearest airport: Maharishi Valmiki International Airport) and transfer to a hotel. Evening visit to the Sarayu River ghats for the evening aarti. Overnight in Ayodhya.
Full day of darshan covering the Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi (dedicated to Lord Hanuman), and Kanak Bhawan. Afternoon visit to Nageshwarnath Temple and Treta Ke Thakur. Overnight in Ayodhya.
Morning drive to Prayagraj (approx. 165 km / 3.5 hrs). Afternoon visit to the Triveni Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati, via boat. Visit the Akshaya Vat, the immortal banyan tree mentioned in ancient texts. Overnight in Prayagraj.
Morning visit to Allahabad Fort (exterior, as the interior is under Army control) and Anand Bhawan. Drive to Varanasi (approx. 120 km / 2.5 hrs). Evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a ritual of lamps, chants, and drums performed daily on the riverbank. Overnight in Varanasi.
Early morning boat ride on the Ganges to witness the ghats and sunrise rituals. Later, darshan at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath, where the Buddha delivered his first sermon, and its stupas and archaeological museum. Overnight in Varanasi.
Morning at leisure for last-minute shopping in Varanasi's lanes for silk sarees and handicrafts. Transfer to Varanasi airport/railway station for departure.
