The Grand Chishti Sufi Circuit

Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Evening visit to Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, one of the most visited Sufi shrines in India, timed for the Thursday evening qawwali sessions where possible. Visit the nearby Tomb of Amir Khusrau, the saint's most devoted disciple and a pioneering poet-musician. Overnight in Delhi.

Morning at leisure or optional visit to other Delhi landmarks (Humayun's Tomb, India Gate). Afternoon free for reflection at the Nizamuddin Basti lanes, known for their kebab shops and old-world charm. Overnight in Delhi.

Morning drive toward Agra, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri (approx. 200 km / 4 hrs from Delhi), the abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar. Visit the Buland Darwaza, one of the tallest gateways in the world, and the Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chishti, whose blessing Akbar credited for the birth of his son. Continue to Agra (approx. 40 km / 1 hr). Overnight in Agra.

Morning visit to the Taj Mahal (optional add-on) or direct drive to Ajmer (approx. 440 km / 8 hrs, often via Jaipur). Overnight in Ajmer.

Morning visit to the Dargah Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, the founding saint of the Chishti Order in India and one of the most visited Sufi shrines in the world, along with the surrounding bazaar. Optional visit to Ana Sagar Lake. Transfer to Jaipur or Udaipur airport for onward/international flight connection.
