Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Amritsar

Arrive Amritsar and transfer to hotel. Evening visit to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib) for the Palki Sahib ceremony, followed by the Wagah Border retreat ceremony nearby. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar

Full day at the Golden Temple complex, including darshan at Akal Takht Sahib, the first and highest of the five Takhts. Visit the Central Sikh Museum and partake in langar (community kitchen) at the complex. Overnight in Amritsar.

Day 3: Amritsar to Anandpur Sahib

Morning drive to Anandpur Sahib (approx. 210 km / 4.5 hrs). Afternoon darshan at Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, the sacred site where Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa in 1699. Visit the Virasat-e-Khalsa museum nearby. Overnight in Anandpur Sahib.

Day 4: Anandpur Sahib to Talwandi Sabo

Morning drive to Talwandi Sabo (approx. 220 km / 4.5 hrs). Darshan at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, known as the "Guru's Kashi" for its association with learning, where Guru Gobind Singh compiled the final recension of the Guru Granth Sahib. Overnight in Talwandi Sabo/Bathinda.

Day 5: Talwandi Sabo to Delhi

Morning drive to Bathinda and connect with a flight/train to Delhi. Evening at leisure or a visit to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 6: Delhi to Patna

Morning flight to Patna. Afternoon darshan at Takht Sri Patna Sahib, marking the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, and its museum of historic relics. Overnight in Patna.

Day 7: Patna

Morning visit to Gurdwara Gai Ghat and other historic Sikh sites in Patna associated with the Guru's childhood. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Patna.

Day 8: Patna to Nanded

Morning flight to Nanded (typically via a connecting hub). Overnight in Nanded.

Day 9: Nanded

Full day at Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib, the site where Guru Gobind Singh spent his final days and passed the Guruship to the Guru Granth Sahib. Visit the Sach Khand Gurdwara complex and its historic relics. Overnight in Nanded.

Day 10: Nanded

Morning visit to nearby Gurdwara Banda Ghat and the Godavari riverbank sites associated with the Guru's final days. Afternoon at leisure for reflection or shopping. Overnight in Nanded.

Day 11: Departure

Transfer to Nanded airport for onward/international flight connection (typically via a connecting hub).
