About This Tour

The Saptapuri are the seven cities considered capable of granting moksha (liberation) in Hindu tradition. This grand circuit connects all seven — from Rama's Ayodhya and Krishna's Mathura in the north, to Shiva's Varanasi and Ujjain, Kanchipuram in the deep south, and Krishna's kingdom of Dwarka on the western coast — combining flights and road travel across the length of India.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Ayodhya

Arrive and transfer to hotel. Evening aarti at the Sarayu River ghats. Overnight in Ayodhya.

Day 2: Ayodhya

Full day of darshan covering Ram Mandir, Hanuman Garhi, and Kanak Bhawan. Overnight in Ayodhya.

Day 3: Ayodhya to Prayagraj to Varanasi

Morning drive to Prayagraj for a brief visit to the Triveni Sangam, then continue to Varanasi (combined drive approx. 5-6 hrs). Evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 4: Varanasi

Early boat ride on the Ganges, followed by darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath. Overnight in Varanasi.

Day 5: Varanasi to Delhi, drive to Mathura

Morning flight/train to Delhi, then drive to Mathura (approx. 165 km / 3.5 hrs). Overnight in Mathura.

Day 6: Mathura & Vrindavan

Full day covering Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, believed to mark Lord Krishna's birthplace, and Dwarkadhish Temple in Mathura, followed by Banke Bihari Temple and ISKCON Temple in nearby Vrindavan. Overnight in Mathura.

Day 7: Mathura to Haridwar

Morning drive to Haridwar (approx. 260 km / 5.5 hrs). Evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, one of the most sacred ghats on the Ganges. Overnight in Haridwar.

Day 8: Haridwar

Morning visit to Chandi Devi and Mansa Devi temples (via cable car), followed by a walk through the local market and additional riverside ghats. Overnight in Haridwar.

Day 9: Haridwar to Delhi, fly to Indore

Morning drive to Delhi and connect with a flight to Indore. Drive to Ujjain (approx. 55 km / 1.25 hrs). Overnight in Ujjain.

Day 10: Ujjain

Morning Bhasma Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Rest of the day at Ram Ghat and local temples along the Shipra River. Overnight in Ujjain.

Day 11: Ujjain to Indore, fly to Ahmedabad

Morning drive to Indore and connect with a flight to Ahmedabad. Drive toward Dwarka (approx. 400 km / 7-8 hrs, often broken overnight). Overnight en route or in Dwarka.

Day 12: Dwarka

Full day of darshan at the Dwarkadhish Temple, Lord Krishna's legendary kingdom, followed by Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Rukmini Devi Temple. Overnight in Dwarka.

Day 13: Dwarka to Ahmedabad, fly to Chennai

Morning drive to Ahmedabad and connect with a flight to Chennai. Overnight in Chennai.

Day 14: Chennai to Kanchipuram

Morning drive to Kanchipuram (approx. 75 km / 1.5 hrs), the "City of a Thousand Temples." Visit the Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple and Ekambareswarar Temple. Overnight in Kanchipuram.

Day 15: Kanchipuram

Morning visit to Varadaraja Perumal Temple and Kailasanathar Temple, followed by time to explore Kanchipuram's famed silk-weaving quarters. Overnight in Kanchipuram.

Day 16: Departure

Morning drive to Chennai for onward/international flight connection.
